The Salty Dog Mud Race

Race across the river Teign and back (at low tide!). Will start just upstream from Combe Cellars and will go over and around red rock to return for a free coffee or Tea and a packet of crisps courtesy of our sponsors Salty Dog. Trophies will be presented to the winners of each category and medals will be awarded to the first 50 over the finish line.

Expect mud, food and drink and that's just for the spectators!

Get ready to feel the rhythm! The Drum Devon Samba Band brings an electrifying interactive performance packed with vibrant beats, irresistible energy, and plenty of audience participation. Join the celebration as the band’s infectious Afro-Samba grooves fill the air, inviting everyone to grab a drum and play with us. A fun, high-energy experience for all ages—you won’t just watch the show, you’ll be part of it!

Drum Devon is a vibrant community music group bringing people together through rhythm and connection. Specialising in West African djembe drumming and Samba, they deliver dynamic performances and interactive workshops that inspire joy and participation. Their work spans schools, community centres, and the NHS, using the power of drumming to support wellbeing, recovery, and community spirit. Whether on stage or in a circle, Drum Devon creates uplifting experiences that energise, heal, and unite.

Back by popular demand, we're thrilled to offer another fish and chip supper, complete with a challenge to engage your mind, test your knowledge and lateral thinking, all while enjoying one of our nation's favorite meals. Plus, the bar will be open!

This is a ticket only event (as we need to pre-order the food).

FLICS Film Club

Films are shown on the first Friday of each month either at Combeinteignhead during the summer or at Stokeinteignhead during the winter. films start playing at 7:30pm

First timers will need to become members (£10 per year)

Both halls have a Licenced Bar.

You can book all hireable spaces or choose one of the two principal rooms . The rooms are known as the Main Hall and the Whiteaway room. Each option provides a slightly different set of facilities. More hall details can be found here.

Wedding Hire: £800

Includes all hireable spaces and the booking will run from Fri 1:00pm through to Sun 12:00 noon to provide setup and clean-up time. The bar will be available from Sat 1:00pm to 11:00pm. To request more information and arrange a viewing/booking please contact us on cvillagehall@gmail.com.
